These first two images were taken on June 28, 2015 from Davis Mountains State Park, prior to the peak of the conjunction. Jupiter is to the left.
These next two pictures were taken from Georgetown on July 1, 2015, after the closest approach. Now, Venus has moved up and past Jupiter. Most of the sickle of Leo is visible above the conjunction.

ReplyDeleteMr Plumer:
ReplyDeleteNice pics. I am attempting to get my exploradome automated and have been viewing your blog on your automation. I am having trouble with the wiring at the manual switch terminal block location. On your pic there are overlapping/hidden wires at this location. I'm also having trouble understanding where the diodes would go here as well. If it's not to much trouble I was wondering if you could take a picture of that area clarifying the wiring?
Sincerely,
Kevin. Email is cardinalsfan@frontiernet.net
Kevin, I have posted a short video tracing some of the wires you were interested in. Please let me know if that helps
